Tru-Tec NDT’s laboratory is strategically located within Sheffield, South Yorkshire just one mile from Junction 33 of the M1. Sheffield is referred to as the hub of steel manufacturing which allows Tru-Tec NDT to service globally renowned blue-chip companies and SME’s inspection requirements.

Tru-Tec NDT’s technicians are certified to EN4179, NAS410, ISO 9712, PCN, CSWIP, SNT-TC-1A, ASNT & EEMUA qualification standards. The health and safety of personnel is paramount for all activities conducted. Tru-Tec NDT’s IOSH accredited personnel provide vigorous health and safety training for all employees. Risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are conducted and reviewed before contracts, on-site services and in-house services are commenced, mitigating the potential risks and hazards that could occur.
Tru-Tec NDT’s technicians are also trained and certified in accordance with CCNSG, MIST/BOSEIT, GWO, IRATA Rope Access, Confined Space and Highways England SRN.
Tru-Tec NDT performs non-destructive testing examinations to specific instructions. These are written into a comprehensive range of technical procedures/technique sheets which are ISO 9712 & ASNT Level III approved, continually revised and updated with the latest revisions of the referenced standards. For specific projects, technical procedures are developed for each individual test in accordance with the referenced contractual code and standard.
